Hello Dragons and Happy Monday!
Today we are learning a bit about Ms. Mary Knight, our cook/"lunch lady". She has been honing her cooking skills over the past 11 years and has been working at Maple for 6 years.
"Hi! I'm Ms. Mary the lunch lady. I don't have any kids of my own but I count all the kids at our school as my kids too! I LOVE nature: hiking, swimming, and camping. I also enjoy LARP (live action role play) Pirates in the summer! I love Gnomes and have over 200 now that I've collected over the years. I also love Pineapples (just the look) and Lilo and Stitch. Some of the students like to match me on Stitch Tuesday and Pineapple Friday. I'm also known for my SpongeBob socks and eccentric outfits.
I'm not like other cooks. I'm built different! XD"
You certainly are, Ms. Mary! The kids (and staff!) love Ms. Mary. She is always encouraging students to try new things.
